Episode 1 summary:
In episode 1 of season 2 we start with Olivia getting ready to tell a new story to her audience when she noticed a commotion. The residents in the retirement home were upset that one of their own was sent to the hospital. The episode ended with the uncertainty of whether or not it was appropriate to tell a story.

Episode 2:
“I think it’s a great idea.” Rosa quickly said. “It might help people to relax and get their minds off things.”
Again, I looked at Jessica, and she looked at me, only this time she shrugged her shoulders, making the decision all mine.
“Do you have your equipment?” I asked Jessica.
“I’ll run and get it.” She took off jogging down the hall.
I wasn’t sure what the best way was to get the residents’ attention. I looked around to see what was near me that I could use to get them to settle down. The only thing I saw was the light switch, so I started flicking it on and off. Everyone stopped talking, walking, and the crying turned into a whimper.
“I understand everyone is upset. I’m sure the hospital staff will help Walter feel better. In the meantime, Rosa thought it would be a good idea if I told a story. What do you guys think?”
I heard a few people say yes. Some went to find seats and get comfortable, while others stayed where they were. I walked over to the wingback chair and got comfortable. I saw Jessica starting to set up. Everyone pretty much knew our story time was put on YouTube. No one had a problem with it. The YouTube audience can’t really see our retirement center audience. They see some of their backs and maybe the sides of some faces from time to time. I looked at Jessica, and she gave me the thumbs up. She was recording, and I was free to start. I looked at the notes I took out of my cinch bag. I knew the story I was going to tell would be inappropriate given the circumstances with Walter. I smiled as a more appropriate story came to mind. I started the story without missing another second.
